Dallas Dining 🎈 | A Cozy Oyster Place 🦪
Hudson House is a long-standing Dallas institution with multiple locations! I visited the Highland Park branch, but parking was a nightmare—seriously, it took me 15 minutes just to find a spot for lunch. I was pretty frustrated.😵💫 The place has a classic American vibe, complete with a large bar area. Here’s the rundown: 1️⃣ Seafood Bouquet This is their signature dish, but I felt it was a bit overpriced. It only includes oysters and shrimp. While the oysters were fresh, they were quite small. (And 18 “specialty oysters” without specifying the type is a bit misleading. 😂) 2️⃣ Pressed Tuna Sushi Skip it—it’s just average sushi, nothing special. 3️⃣ Lobster Roll The flavor is decent, but the portion is on the smaller side (to be fair, lobster rolls are usually this size). You definitely won’t be full if you only order this. 4️⃣ The Cheeseburger Hands down the best thing on the menu. The burger is thick and juicy, and the accompanying fries are amazing—thin, crispy, and with a slight airiness when you bite into them. 5️⃣ Chowder It’s pretty hearty and well-stocked with ingredients. Summary: I probably wouldn’t choose to come here on my own unless it was for a group outing. The overall value and flavors are just average. I’d recommend checking out the Addison location for easier parking. Hudson House 4448 Lovers Ln, Dallas, TX 75225 #DallasFood #DallasLife #DallasDining #RestaurantReview
