Dallas Dining 🌟 | A Romantic French Date
The decor of this French restaurant truly tickled my girlish heart 🎀, with the main color scheme being Tiffany blue 🌀. Since it was the holiday season, the Christmas 🎄 decorations were particularly eye-catching. 🍹 The drinks here, in my opinion, were quite average. I would definitely avoid the Sangria—it was as light as water, with almost no alcohol content, which was quite surprising. Their recommended Paris Romance had a nice presentation but was overly sweet. Regarding the food, don't expect large portions in a French restaurant; they mainly aim to leave you still a bit hungry. 1️⃣ Escargot Persillade French escargot is a must-order for me when dining at a French restaurant. This version wasn't too greasy. A portion comes with five snails, and the size of the snails was decent. 2️⃣ Foie Gras They used duck liver, which had a good texture but had a slight gamey flavor. 3️⃣ Soupe à l’Oignon Gratinee Despite the long name, it’s just a classic French onion soup, which was pretty standard. 4️⃣ Le Confit De Canard The duck leg was delicious. The duck meat was very tender and had no gamey flavor. It was really good. 5️⃣ Boeuf Bourguignon The French beef stew was well-cooked. The beef was very tender and the seasoning was just right, not too salty. There were also plenty of vegetables. The only thing I didn’t understand was why they didn’t serve bread with it, just a bowl of stew on its own 🤔 6️⃣ Bouillabaisse The Marseille fish soup contained various seafood and thin pasta. Personally, I thought the salmon was a bit dry and the scallops had a slightly fishy taste. #DallasFood #Dallas #DallasDining #DallasFrenchCuisine
