Dallas Dining - Uno Mas Tex Mex

🐟Uno Mas Tex Mex is a highly-rated local Tex Mex restaurant in Dallas. The food is delicious. However, my attitude towards Tex Mex is similar to my feelings about Americanized Chinese food. Since authentic Mexican food is so amazing, I tend to be quite biased against Americanized Mexican cuisine. But when in Texas, you’ve got to try some Tex Mex! 🍤Enchiladas Recommendation: 4.5/5 I highly recommend the Mezcal Braised Short Rib enchilada. The meat is incredibly juicy and flavorful. The chicken enchilada is also good, but I prefer the beef one. I ordered both to compare, and the beef definitely won me over. 💡Charro Tacos Recommendation: 3/5 They taste good, but they’re definitely more suited to a “white American” palate. Adding avocado on top does enhance the texture a bit, but it feels more like a breakfast dish than a taco to me. ✅Sopes 3 Way Recommendation: 4/5 These are quite unique—three different flavors of sopes, all of which are pretty tasty. I especially enjoyed the spicy ground beef one. The accompanying salsa for the tortilla chips has a nice bit of spice to it, which I really liked. Overall, it was a pretty good experience.
