Dallas Dining Adventure: Fish City Grill 🦐

Having just moved to Dallas, I couldn’t wait to start exploring the local food scene. Today marked my first official restaurant visit—Fish City Grill 🦀, and every bite was pure bliss!💥 📍 Fish City Grill, Richardson The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with both indoor and outdoor seating areas, plus a bar where you can watch sports. There’s a large chalkboard listing their specialty dishes, which change regularly and aren’t on the regular menu. Unfortunately, the crayfish were sold out today—guess I’ll have to come back another time. As soon as we sat down, the staff asked if it was our first time visiting. The thoughtful chef then brought out some complimentary tastings (I forgot to take a photo): four small bowls of soup and two pieces of Oyster Nachos. This was a delightful surprise! 🍽️ Recommended Dishes: 1️⃣ Fish and Chips: Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the fish is incredibly fresh and pairs perfectly with their special tartar sauce. 🍟 My husband says this dish is a true test of a restaurant’s quality. 2️⃣ Pan Served Salmon Cake: A unique texture, served with delicious mashed potatoes. 3️⃣ Crab Bisque: A rich, hearty soup filled with plenty of crab meat. It’s on the salty side, but one sip will warm your heart! 🍲 4️⃣ Sesame Tuna: This new appetizer features a fantastic sauce. 5️⃣ Oysters: Very fresh, with a surprisingly delicious pairing of wasabi. 👩‍🍳 The service was also very attentive. The waiter even gave us a 20% off coupon that we can use within two months. 🏡 Overall, Fish City Grill was my first proper meal since arriving in Dallas, and I’d give it 4🌟.
