Dallas Dining Exploration | Fancy Ramen Spot: JINYA

This ramen restaurant is less than a three-minute drive from where we live. They have other locations as well. The service is pretty good, and the dishes are okay. 🐙 Takoyaki: This is the best-tasting Takoyaki (octopus balls) I’ve had in Dallas. They’re topped with a generous layer of mayonnaise. 🌶️ Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna: The rice at the bottom is super crispy, and combined with the tuna, it’s incredibly satisfying in every bite. 🥬 Brussels Sprouts Tempura: The tempura Brussels sprouts get a bit bitter towards the end, which is a nice palate cleanser.😄 🍗 Crispy Chicken: The exterior is crispy, and the meat is tender and juicy—delicious!😋 🍆 Miso Glazed Eggplant: This dish was a bit of a letdown; the flavor was quite average. 🍣 Sushi Salmon and Taco: Both the salmon sushi and taco were pretty good and worth recommending. For the ramen, we ordered one bowl because I heard from others that it could be quite salty. We went with the JINYA Tonkotsu Black. My partner said it was pretty good and was pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was. I tried it and thought it was just average.😄 🍹 Lycheetini: If you love lychee, you have to try this. It’s a very refreshing and fragrant lychee-flavored cocktail. Plus, it looks amazing when it arrives with a smoke bubble. When you tap the bubble with your nose, you get a delightful blend of lychee and smoky scents.😄 ⭐️ They also have a Happy Hour from 2-5 p.m. every afternoon, with discounts on selected drinks and appetizers. Overall, I think it’s a pretty good place. The ambiance, some of the dishes, drinks, and service are all quite nice. 🍜 JINYA Ramen #DallasLife #GreatPlacesInDallas #JapaneseRamen #IzakayaCuisine #DallasEats #DallasFood
