Dallas Fairview Farmers — A Great Brunch Spot in Allen

I highly recommend Fairview Farmers in Allen for brunch. The portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. The only downside is that it gets really crowded on weekends, and you might have to wait for about 30 minutes (especially since it’s too hot to wait outside now). Overall, I give it a five-star recommendation, and I’ll definitely be back because it’s close to home. 🍰 Berry Blast Pancakes I have to mention these first because they’re incredibly delicious. Even my boyfriend, who usually doesn’t like sweets, couldn’t stop eating them. The portion size is huge (much bigger than it looks in the photos), and the fruits are really fresh. The sauce is tangy and sweet, unlike overly sweet American desserts. I highly recommend giving these a try. I even added some butter on top for a sweet-and-salty combination—it was amazing but definitely a calorie bomb! Haha. 🍰 Texan Avocado Toast This dish combines eggs, pork, avocado, and bread, and the textures blend really well. The only thing to note is that it’s topped with raw green onions, so if you’re not a fan of onions, be aware. The meat is tender and not dry at all, and the overall dish is easy to chew with no major drawbacks. The hash browns on the side are particularly good—perfectly fried, crispy, and not greasy at all. 🍰 Chilaquiles Bowl This one is a bit more ordinary. It’s a Mexican-flavored dish (spicy and tangy), with really hot peppers and cilantro. I had some trouble figuring out how to mix all the ingredients together, but since we generally enjoy Mexican food, it wasn’t a deal-breaker. You can definitely have a satisfying meal for around $20. If you’re looking for a place to have breakfast or brunch, this is a great option. They’re open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and you can even go shopping at the outlet mall afterward. #DallasFood #Brunch #WeekendGetaway #SweetAndSaltyCombination #LocalFoodRecommendation
