Dallas Food | Tasting a Miami-Style Sanguich
Ever since I came back from Miami, I’ve been craving that Cuban sandwich from Little Havana. Imagine my delight when I found a spot near White Rock Lake in Dallas that serves a similar one! (It was so good that I only managed to take one photo before digging in.) 📍 Smoky Rose 8602 Garland Rd 🥪 The Casa Linda Cuban This Cuban sandwich is slightly spicy but incredibly delicious. I’d call it a worthy Miami sanguich substitute. Even people who usually don’t like sandwiches enjoyed it! 🥹 🌮 Brisket Street Taco The tender beef brisket taco is very Tex-Mex and highly recommended! 🍹 Smoky Rose Cocktail This cocktail has a subtle fruity flavor. If you don’t like strong alcohol tastes, this one is perfect for you. The ambiance of the restaurant is great, with outdoor, semi-outdoor, and indoor seating options. It wasn’t crowded, but the only downside is that they have valet parking (it’s free, but we tipped the valet). P.S. Out of curiosity, after talking with the waiter, they took us to see their barbecue area. It was spotless! Very, very professional! According to the staff, the barbecue is supplied in a fixed quantity every day. #Dallas #DallasLife #DallasFood #DallasWeekend
