Dallas Food Exploration | Restaurant Round-Up 2
🔆Chinese Cuisine: 88baobao and Jingtai Blue: 88baobao is located in Frisco and is quite popular, but the wait time isn’t too long. Their soup dumplings and pan-fried buns are above average for Dallas. I heard that Jingtai Blue has changed ownership and updated its menu. We tried the sweet and sour pork, which wasn’t as good as the boba-flavored version, but since boba is too far away, this place is one of the better options nearby for a good meal. 🥪Desserts: D‘CARAMEL PATISSERIE : This trendy pastry shop has been making waves, and we visited twice. A month ago, we tried their Danish, croffin, apple yuzu tart, pear cheesecake, and mango passion mousse. Today, I picked up a strawberry vanilla cake as a birthday treat from my company and also bought two croissants. Overall, the pastries are very flaky and delicious, but compared to Carte Blanche, they are smaller in portion and a bit more expensive. The desserts are mainly mousse-based, small and delicate, but even one piece can be a bit too sweet for one person. Unfortunately, the strawberry cake was a bit of a letdown 🙅; the cake was too dense. #Dallas #RestaurantShare #DallasLife
