Dallas Hutchins BBQ 🍖 Check-In 😋

🌞 Finally got to taste authentic Texas BBQ🍖🍖 Today’s check-in is at the famous Hutchins BBQ, at their Frisco location. We arrived a little after 1 PM, and it was already packed with a long line. Fortunately, the folks in front of us were very friendly. They had been here several times and gave us some great tips on what to order and how to choose the sides. They mentioned that if you come on a weekday, you can get in quickly without the wait. The experience was a bit different from what I had imagined. It’s not a formal sit-down meal; it’s more like a university cafeteria style: you order your meat and sides, pay, grab a cup, find a table, and then get your drink🥤. There’s a self-serve snack station with pickles, 🌶️ peppers, onions, sauces, and even a self-serve ice cream machine🍦— don’t miss out if you have a sweet tooth. Brisket: The meat is very tender and full of flavor. Beef Ribs: Highly recommended👍. They are incredibly tender and juicy. My appetite isn’t what it used to be; two of us couldn’t finish a whole rack. Back in school, I could’ve eaten a whole one by myself. Chicken Half: This was strongly recommended by the friendly folks we chatted with outside. It’s tasty and the meat is tender, but compared to the beef, I still prefer the beef. Sides: Following the advice of others, we ordered the smallest paper box, which allows you to fill it yourself and try a bit of everything. Every single one was delicious😋. The fried okra was particularly impressive👍. It was a fantastic🎉 Texas BBQ experience. The long line was definitely worth it! If you have any other recommendations for great BBQ places, feel free to share. #DallasFoodie #LifeInDallas #BBQ #WeekendEats
