Dallas Japanese Cuisine | Nobu Omakase

🐟I'm sharing about my experience at Nobu. Although it's a chain restaurant, my first time dining there was in Dallas. I've always wanted to try Shoyo, but since it's so hard to get a reservation, I opted for Nobu instead. I didn't have high expectations based on online reviews, but I was quite pleasantly surprised. 🐟 Their omakase doesn't require a special reservation; you can order it directly at the restaurant. The price is $200 per person for a total of seven courses. However, by the fourth course, I already felt quite full. 😂Overall, the flavor profile leans towards fusion. The standout dish for me was the Japanese A5 Wagyu beef—it was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the sauce was spot - on. It's worth mentioning the dessert, Miso Cappuccino. The blend of coffee and chocolate was excellent and not at all cloying. The final bill came to $403, which was exactly the price of the omakase. In Seattle, we're used to many Japanese fine - dining restaurants offering fixed - price omakase or tasting menus, rather than the more expensive a - la - carte options. This restaurant clearly caters to American tastes, offering dishes like beef fajitas. 📍Nobu Dallas 400 Crescent Ct, Dallas, TX 75201 #Dallas #Dallas life #Dallas cuisine #omakase #Japanese food
