Dallas Korean Dining: Ajumma

🄾I had two meals here and will write about them together. This is the Carrollton location. This Korean mom-and-pop restaurant is quite famous in Dallas. It’s often praised for its authentic, home-style Korean flavors. Especially their blood sausage, which is loved by those who enjoy it. But this place is not just about blood sausage; they offer many other home-style dishes, all in generous portions and at very reasonable prices. And no tipping required! šŸ“Interestingly, inside the restaurant, there’s a small section dedicated to selling Korean side dishes, rice cakes, and snacks. The rice cakes and other items sold here are exactly the same as those in H-Mart, all very fresh and reasonably priced. The side dishes generally cost between $3 to $5 per box. They also offer marinated beef and pork, perfect for barbecuing. For the restaurant part, their menu is divided into two sections. There’s a menu on the wall where you pay, and then there are several other dishes listed on the adjacent wall—don’t miss those! Here’s what we ordered: āœ… Army Stew (Budae Jjigae) Surprisingly, the army stew had the smallest portion of the three dishes we tried. It’s served in a black stone pot. I found it quite delicious. Compared to the tofu soup in many other restaurants, it’s a bit lighter, so it doesn’t leave your mouth feeling too overwhelmed with flavors. #LifeInNorthAmerica #DallasEats #DallasFood #StonePotBibimbap
