Dallas MĀBO

🍓This Mabo in Dallas just opened this year and specializes in yakitori (Japanese grilled skewers). They only have two seating times per day: 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., with each seating accommodating only eight people. On weekdays, you can usually get a reservation for the same day. The ambiance of the restaurant is particularly nice, with a purely Japanese-style decor. 🌟Today, I checked out MĀBO in Dallas. This place is known for its yakitori omakase. Overall, I thought their yakitori was pretty good. We even added extra skewers of chicken skin, chicken neck, chicken liver, and beef tongue. The chicken liver and beef tongue were cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. 🌽The first course was a delightful appetizer of black truffle, chicken hearts, and toast. The flavors throughout the meal were on the lighter side, but the yakitori was definitely a highlight. (The additional yakitori skewers were reasonably priced at around $8-$10 each, which I thought was quite fair.) Of course, I thought their sashimi was just okay—hahaha. But that's understandable since they specialize in yakitori omakase. Overall, it was a nice experience, and I'd recommend giving it a try. The omakase is $200 per person, with beverages charged separately. 📍 MĀBO 6109 Berkshire Ln B, Dallas, TX 75225 #DallasExplore #DallasGourmet
