Dan Gui Sichuan Cuisine in Seattle — Delicious!
🐸 Dry Pot Frog with Perilla The standout dish of this meal! The fragrant perilla paired with tender frog meat made this frog lover extremely happy. The only downside was that the frog was cut into small pieces, so it took a while to eat—but it was totally worth it for the flavor! 🌶️ Signature Stir-Fried Pork with Chili Peppers A classic Hunan dish, also very tasty and full of wok hei (breath of the wok). This was my first time seeing wood ear mushrooms added to this dish—an interesting twist! 🍆 Pounded Chili, Eggplant, and Preserved Egg Not recommended. This dish is usually a must-order for me when having Hunan food, and I even make it at home. Their version was a bit too oily, and the flavors of the chili and preserved egg didn't blend well with the eggplant. I prefer a lighter, fresher take. 😋 Rating: 3.5/5 💰 Average per person: $60 📍 Dan Gui Sichuan Cuisine 13112 NE 20th St, Bellevue, WA 98005 #Seattle#travelguide#Seattlefood#Seattletravel#Seattlelife
