Day Trip Around Rome | Europe’s Largest Man-Made Waterfall 🤩
📍 Marmore Falls 🚗 By Car - There are parking entrances both above and below the waterfall, so you can choose where to stop based on your navigation! From central Rome, it takes about an hour to get there (you'll need to take the highway 🛤️). 🚄 By Train - You can take a train from Tiburtina or Termini to Terni and then switch to another train or bus. For detailed information, consult the staff at the station. Return Trip - Tickets for the train from Marmore to Terni need to be purchased on board ⚠️. The station is small and doesn’t have ticket machines ❌. 🎫 Ticket Price: €10/person The opening times for the water gates vary each month, usually with one opening in the morning and another in the afternoon. It’s best to check the official website beforehand to avoid missing it. (The schedule for October to December is shown in image 13—feel free to grab it if you need!) 🗺️ Map: At the ticket booth, you'll get a route distribution map for trails 1-6. I recommend starting with trail 2. If the weather is good, you might catch a little rainbow 🌈! The paths mostly circle around the waterfall, making it perfect for photos 📷. 🧚🏻♀️ The air in the mountains is refreshing! If you visit in summer, you can book a rafting activity through the official website. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothes 🏃♀️ and bring a disposable raincoat. The closer you get to the waterfall, the bigger the water droplets, so get ready to embrace nature! 🌲 #Waterfall #WaterfallPhotography #Rome #Italy #LifeInItaly #RomeDayTrip #GoodFinds
