Day Trip Around Seattle

Arrived on the island around noon. Originally planned to try a Vietnamese restaurant, but due to a downtown parade, it was too crowded with no parking available. Ended up going to Green Pot Deli further away. 1⃣ Bloedel Reserve Requires advance reservations (student tickets available). 🌸Many flowers in bloom: a large cherry blossom tree, magnolias, and other unknown small flowers. On clear days, you can see distant snow-capped mountains. 🌳The willow trees were a tender green, making it feel very spring-like! Spent about 2+ hours exploring. 2⃣ Poulsbo Norwegian Town Many small shops to explore. Tried Sluys Bakery—had to queue outside. ☀️By the afternoon, many popular pastries were sold out. The treats were quite sweet—not recommended for those who dislike sugary desserts. Spotted a beautiful magnolia tree! 3⃣ Sakai Park A "peacekeeper" statue perfect for photos. 4⃣ Returned to Downtown Most shops were closed, but the roadside flowers were still lovely! #Seattle#Seattle life#travel guide#trip diary#Washington#SeattleWeekend
