Day Trip to Albany, the Capital of New York

✔️The State Capitol itself is quite interesting and worth exploring. Beyond its historical significance, the building features exquisite architectural details, and the iconic "I Love NY" sign outside is a perfect photo spot. My personal favorite, however, is the stunning staircase inside known as The Great Western Staircase. 🩷Near the Capitol, you can visit a free observation deck on the 42nd floor of the Corning Tower II. Just head inside, follow the signs, and take the elevator up to the 42nd floor for panoramic views. ✨If you're traveling by car, staying overnight nearby may not be necessary. But if you prefer a more relaxed pace with an overnight stay, I had a pleasant experience at the Albany Renaissance Hotel. 🥰While dining options in the immediate vicinity are limited, the hotel's restaurant, Wellington's, served a delicious dinner—though the breakfast was fairly average. #Albany #NewYork #Travel #NYStateCapitol #travelguide#Albanyguide
