Day Trip to Córdoba from Málaga
During my four-day stay in Málaga, I took a day trip to Córdoba. Here’s all the essential info you need for this trip, so give it a like and save it for later. 🚆 Transportation The train from Málaga to Córdoba takes about an hour, and it cost us 47 euros round trip. I recommend booking your tickets a few days in advance for a cheaper price. The station to departure and purchase tickets is Málaga María Zambrano. 🏰 Attractions We booked a tour on Guru last minute, and I suggest you do the same. The tour covers all the main sights and historical introductions of Córdoba, plus restaurant recommendations, which I found quite worthwhile. It cost us 10 euros each. The Mosque-Cathedral Monumental Site of Córdoba is a must-visit! There’s a discount for students. This mosque-cathedral is one of the most breathtaking and unique churches I’ve ever seen and is a must-visit in Córdoba. We spent an hour there, and I felt it wasn’t enough 🥹 It’s truly a must-see in one’s lifetime. Torre De Calahorra (Torre de la Calahorra) is another castle worth checking out. You can see the cathedral across the river from there, but it didn’t feel that significant. 🍴 Food Since it was a day trip, we only went to two places. One was a Halal restaurant, and the other was a local specialty egg pancake (extremely salty, I suggest sharing it between two people). #Spain #EuropeanTravel #MalagaSurroundings #Malaga #MálagaTravel #LivingInSpain #LivingInUK #Cordoba #CordobaMosque
