🌍 Day Trip to Curonian Spit National Park in Kaliningrad
📍 Did you know? Kaliningrad is a Russian "exclave", surrounded by the Baltic Sea, Poland, and Lithuania. Today’s destination—Curonian Spit National Park—borders Lithuania and boasts breathtaking natural scenery! 🚗 Transport Tips: The park is very close to Zelenogradsk (Cat Town) 🐱 – perfect starting point! We met a super-friendly taxi driver who arranged a private car package for us: ✅ Round trip from the city ✅ 3 main scenic stops ✅ Park entrance fee included ✅ 5-hour tour (we actually enjoyed 6 hours – great value! 😍) 🌲 Highlights: 1️⃣ Efa Dune: Climb to enjoy panoramic views of the spit, or walk by the sea (super windy – bring a hat! 🧢🌬️) 2️⃣ Dancing Forest: A unique natural phenomenon – trees that seem to dance in the wind~ 🌲💃 3️⃣ Another lookout point: Overlook both the Baltic Sea 🌊 and Lake Chaika – incredibly wide-open views! 💡 Tips: 3 stops are enough unless you’re a hardcore nature lover 😉 Wear comfortable shoes! 👟 The park is huge and requires lots of walking. Private car or rental is highly recommended. You can even stay overnight in the park in summer! 🍽 Food Rec: After returning to the city, we tried Fish Dealers 🐟 – a seafood restaurant with fresh, delicious dishes. Around 1500 RUB per person. ✨ Conclusion: Curonian Spit is perfect for nature lovers 📸🍃. A private car makes the trip easy and efficient. Don’t forget your camera – every shot is postcard-worthy! #Kaliningrad #TravelRussia #CuronianSpit #BalticSea #TravelGuide ✨
