Day Trip to Downtown Minneapolis π
The Mississippi River divides the two largest cities in Minnesota, Minneapolis and Saint Paul, each with its own city hall. π π The Sculpture Garden can probably be seen in just 10 minutes. A π₯ plus a π is already a landmark. People on the adjacent lawn are leisurely sipping red wine. π The nearby Mill Museum is closed on Mondays to Wednesdays. I only took a few photos at the entrance. The explosion's power back then was quite intense, as half of the building was blown away. π I don't understand why it's not called the Art Museum, but the Minnesota Institute of Art. The second floor houses Asian collections, with a rich variety of ancient Chinese treasures. There are also quite a few antiques and paintings from the Han, Tang, Ming, and Qing dynasties, which also tell a history of looted artifacts. π π During my visit, I encountered a Chinese tourist. Just by getting close to an ancient Chinese wooden door, the administrator said, "Please don't touch it," which was a bit annoying to hear at the time. π The City of 10,000 Lakes lives up to its name. There are 10,000 lakes throughout the state, and lakes are also everywhere in the city of Minnesota. It's a common sight to see locals paddling kayaks or sailing boats. #USA π π
