Days 4-5: Must-Eat Foods in Barcelona & Valencia 🤤

📍 Day 4: Barcelona (Shopping + Tapas!) After a day of retail therapy (haul recap coming later! 💸), we hit LA PEPITA near Passeig de Gràcia. Their creative tapas were so good: 🦐 Red shrimp al ajillo (garlic oil, green beans, lemongrass) – Aromatic & rich! 🐙 Grilled octopus w/ green mojo sauce – Unexpectedly refreshing! 🍗 Canpepi fried chicken – Asian fusion vibes! 🥩 Beef, potatoes & bread – Comfort food overload! 🚗 Day 5: Barcelona → Valencia (4h Drive → FOOD TOUR!) Rain ruined sightseeing, so we ate our way through Valencia instead! 🌧️🍽️ 🦪 Ostras Pedrín – BEST OYSTERS EVER! • Ostras Asturiana: Firm, medium brine • Ostras Valenciana: Softer, saltier • Tempura oysters: Small, heavy batter • Ostras del Sol Tarbouriech: Silky, balanced • Anguila kabayaki (eel): Tender, smoky-sweet 🔥 🥐 Sukar Bakery – Croissants that ruined me for life! • Tiramisu & pistachio flavors – Stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey! • Why are European pastries SO much better?! 😭 🧋 Horchatería Daniel – Local curiosity! • Horchata = Tiger-nut milk shake (super sweet!), best with fartons (sugar-dusted bread sticks). 🍚 Casa Roberto – "Paella’s birthplace"! • No paella left (always book ahead!), but their noodle version was still bomb. 🥟 Tian Tian Da Rou Bao – Chinese stomach salvation! • Steamed buns for breakfast = Homesick cure! #BarcelonaFood #ValenciaEats #TapasLover #FoodieRoadTrip #OysterHeaven #PaellaPilgrimage
