π DC/Arlington Weekend Trip
π DC/Arlington Weekend Trip While in DC to renew my passport, I took the chance to explore a bit. Sharing a few places I tried after filtering through Google: Umai Nori πππβ¨ The taste wasnβt mind-blowing, but the value was unbeatable! We ordered the sashimi and sushi lunch set β around $30 per set, which came with salad (not pictured), soup, sashimi/sushi, a big basket of tempura, and rolls β enough for two meals! π£β¨ The fish was fresh, and each item was well-made. If I lived nearby, Iβd definitely come here often. Guete Leute ππππ So good, I loved it β had it every day during my stay! βοΈβ€οΈ Tried the Mango Matcha Latte, Pink Salted Caramel CrΓ¨me Latte, Crunch Corn Cream Latte, and the signature Guete Leute. Iβd most recommend the first two β not too sweet! The mango matcha was excellent, with strong fruity notes and bits of mango purΓ©e. The dine-in-only small cup drink had high expectations but was just okay β too many toppings that overpowered the coffee flavor. Shanghai Lounge πππβ¨ Ordered the spicy blood and tofu stew , dry-fried green beans, and stir-fried pork kidney β all tasty and not too oily, reasonably priced. The staff were super friendly, which was a plus! π Other spots (no photos): Un je ne sais quoi ππππ A French pastry shop I visit every time Iβm in DC β bought a whole bag to bring back to Florida for breakfast! π₯π° Their Γ©clairs, croissants, and tarts are all delicate and delicious. Bostan Uyghur Cuisine πππ The dry-fried noodles are a five-star recommendation β so fragrant and savory! π The noodles were chewy, but the βguo you rouβ noodles had a strong ginger taste, and the samsa pastry crust was too buttery for my liking. Pho75 ππππ Cheap, huge portions, and fresh β the broth tastes authentic without any artificial flavors. π² Another spot I have to visit every time Iβm in DC. Cash only β the line on Friday night was long but moved fast! #DCFood#ArlingtonEats#WeekendGetaway#FoodTour#CoffeeLover#AsianFoodDC
