DC CityBike Adventure: Arlington National Cemetery 🚴‍♀️🇺🇸

Kicked off my day at Union Station and biked 25 scenic minutes to Arlington Cemetery, passing iconic sights like the Capitol, White House, and National Gallery of Art (where I snapped these dreamy purple tulips—so painterly! 🌷). 📍 Route Highlights Tidal Basin crossing: Cycled over the bridge into Virginia, greeted by a vibrant red tulip lawn at the cemetery entrance. Bike parking: Free racks outside (no bikes allowed inside). Entry: Free walk-in access (or $10 shuttle tickets for tired legs). 🌿 Inside the Cemetery JFK’s gravesite: Just a 10-min walk uphill (Easter crowds included families + school groups!). Hilly terrain: Great for cardio… or justifying extra dessert later 😉. Left after 30 mins—hunger > history (but the solemn beauty lingered). #ArlingtonCemetery #DCBiking #TulipSeason #UrbanAdventure #MemorialRide
