DCโs Ultra-High Value Treasure of French Cuisine
๐ NEW BEDFORD SCALLOPS - A must-try, very appetizing The scallops are perfectly seared, with a hint of sweetness. The papaya salad with coconut lemon sauce has a Thai cuisine vibe. ๐ฅฅ๐ ๐ FOIE GRAS MOUSSE - The texture is creamy and overall quite good. Paired with a donut or fig, the honey mustard seasoning is delicious. ๐ฉ๐ ๐ RIME NEW YORK STRIP - Pretty average The side dishes, potato dauphinoise and pumpkin, are quite tasty though. ๐ฅ๐ ๐ RACK OF LAMB - Two large portions, very fragrant. The lamb chops are lean, not gamey, and are seasoned with lemon mint vinegar. Medium rare is delicious, but it doesnโt quite pair with the grilled chicory. ๐๐ฟ ๐ฑ SPRING FRICASSรE - Not much to say, mainly wanted some veggies. Truly a hidden gem for date nights in Georgetown with great value. ๐ฝ๏ธ๐ ๐ฐ Average cost per person: $125 - No misses with each dish, full of sincerity. The refined retro American style and attentive yet unobtrusive service are perfect. Today, the Easter bunny came to hand out candy and interact ๐ฐ Iโm really loving this American-style French cuisine. Next time, Iโll have to try the duck breast. #100RestaurantExplorationPlan #WashingtonDC #SeekingFlavorfulTowns #GeorgetownFood #HighValueRestaurantRecommendations #DMVFood #WashingtonDCFood #LocalsFavoriteEats
