For international students in North America, besides pho, one cuisine you’ll definitely try is Mexican food! 🌮🌶️ 🌟 Chips & Salsa – $12 💰 You can’t have Mexican food without chips! And salsa is the soul—a good salsa really matters! We got the smokey tomato salsa (tomatoes are a perfect match 🍅), but personally, I think the tomato salsa at Chevys in Pentagon City is a bit fresher and lighter. Chips are bottomless—great for munching while chatting! 🗣️🥠 🌟 Al Pastor Taco – $16 💸 The taco shell is a soft Mexican-style tortilla, not the crispy American kind. The fried rice served with it was delicious! 🌮🍚 🌟 Grilled Shrimp Quesadillas – $15 🦐🧀 So, so, so, SO good! The best dish of the meal! The cheese was super fragrant and stretchy, and the seasoning was on point—though a bit salty (as is common in the U.S. 😅). Definitely a must-order! 👌🔥 #WashingtonDC #DMVFood #MexicanCuisine #JHUDCEats #MyFoodStory #TacoTuesday #ChipsAndSalsa #QuesadillaLove #InternationalEats #StudentEats #FlavorfulBites #CheesyGoodness #NorthAmericanFood #CulturalBites #FoodDiaries #EatLikeALocal #DCfoodscene #SpiceOfLife #ComfortFood #MustTryDC
