DC|DMV Food Diary 🍽️ — La Vie
A restaurant at The Wharf – you’ll need to find your way up to the 4th–6th floors. The window seats offer nice views of the yachts 🛥️, and the ambiance is lovely – perfect for birthdays, holidays, or anniversaries! Portions are not as large as expected, just standard size. 🌟 Seafood Tower A great deal when it’s half price! The oysters were tasty but seemed frozen rather than fresh – lacked that natural sweetness. Baltimore oysters are much better. 🦀 The crab legs didn’t come with scissors, which made them tricky to eat. Definitely a messy dish! 🌟 Lamb Chops Delicious, but tasted similar to the ones at Bodega. 🌟 Lobster Risotto Really enjoyable lobster rice – though most lobster risottos in the DMV taste pretty similar (good, but not much variation). We kept it budget-friendly and caught a discount, so it came to about $80–90 per person. A fixed 20% service charge is included. Have you been to La Vie?
