DC | Fancy Dinner at Succotash šŸ„‚

āļøIt’s been a while since I’ve been tipsy; after the evening school event, I was starving and headed straight to the restaurant! Succotash was already packed at 6:30 PM. Luckily, there was still space at the second-floor bar. The medium-rare rib eye was super tender, and the fries on the side were perfectly crispy. āļøThe BBQ pork chop with risotto was absolutely amazing; the pork chop had a perfect balance of smoky and sweet flavors, making it very appetizingšŸ‘ We also ordered crab cakes, and the crab meat was so tender that we finished it all. āļøThe peach & tomato salad was okay, just the natural taste of the food itself. For three people, the total with these dishes, three drinks, tax, and tip came to $240, which I think is an acceptable price. I had a whiskey sour; it was a bit strong but deliciously sweet and sour. This place is really great for a date! āļøAfter dinner, we moved to the bar across the street, called Silver Lyan. This bar is underground, with a hotel above. They only accept walk-ins. Since I didn’t have my ID, I had to order a mocktail. The drinks here are very creative, and the menu is interesting, with a little story for each cocktail. It’s perfect for having a few drinks and chatting with friends in the evening. #WashingtonDCFood #dmvFoodExploration #dmvFood #DMVBars #WashingtonDCBars #TipsyMoments #Tipsy #dmvWeekendActivities
