๐ฅฃ Brussels sprouts with a unique preparation, the grapes were super sweet, and the whole bowl was filled with aroma, we devoured it all. ๐ฅ ๐ฅฃ Duck sharwarma - Iโd say itโs the pinnacle of duck dishes (though it might be because I was really hungry since it was our first course), absolutely delicious! ๐ฆ ๐ฅฃ Blue fin tuna naye with spicy sauce - it was just okay, not outstanding but not bad either. ๐ ๐ฅฃ Day boat scallops - this was pretty good, scallops seem to be a dish that never disappoints. ๐ฆ ๐ฅฃ Halibut - this was the second best dish! I hadnโt seen it mentioned online, but it was really tasty. The sauce had a rich creamy flavor with a hint of freshness, and the dark garnish I thought was mushrooms turned out to be squash, but I suspect it was actually zucchini. The texture was quite intriguing. ๐ ๐ฅฃ Bone Marrow + steak tartar - it felt a bit heavy, not as good as the blue duck, not highly recommended. ๐ฅฉ ๐ฎ Mixed Baklava - this Middle Eastern pastry looked amazing and tasted great, but it was a bit too sweet for my taste. I could only eat two out of six before feeling full. ๐ฅ ๐ฎ Mouhalabiyeh - a not-too-sweet milk pudding with crushed pistachios/orange zest, very aromatic, recommended. ๐ฎ ๐ฎ Ice cream - surprisingly, they had black sesame flavor, which was also good. ๐จ ๐ธ We ordered two sweet wines, โThyme After Timeโ and โItโs A Date,โ both were quite pleasant. ๐ท #dmv #dmvfoodie #dmvfoodandfun #dmv_eats #dc #washingtondceats #dcrestauranthunt
