DC Affordable French Cuisine โ Le Diplomate ๐ซ๐ทโจ
Had a farewell meal with a friend here โ just the two of us at Le Diplomate. ๐ Boeuf Bourguignon โ An absolute standout! ๐ท The beef was perfectly tender, and the mashed potatoes were creamy and rich. So delicious! Duck Confit โ The potatoes were a bit too salty ๐ง, but the restaurant kindly comped the dish. Chicken Liver Mousse โ Paired with bread, it was a match made in heaven! A bit sweet, but highly recommended โ I loved it! โค๏ธ Escargots de Bourgogne โ Salty and garlicky, perfect for dipping bread ๐ฅ, but too intense to eat alone. Worth trying for something new! Coffee โ Just okayโฆ honestly, I prefer Capital One Cafeโs brew โ. Complimentary Dessert โ Pretty decent! ๐ฐ The atmosphere was lively and full of character โ very bustling! They serve brunch on Sunday midday. ๐ฅ Parking is available on nearby streets, or you can take the metro and walk a bit. ๐ All that food for two people came to around $100 โ not bad at all! ๐ต Have you been here?
