DC Food Exploration | The Hottest Brunch Spot on a Backstreet

🌟Kafe Leopold, nestled on a backstreet in the Georgetown area of Washington, D.C., specializes in Austrian cuisine with a menu in both English and German. It’s packed full on weekend brunches, and even though there are plenty of seats, you might still have to wait during peak times – it’s that popular! The food is tasty, light, and healthy, leaving you feeling comfortable after a meal, and it’s great value for money. There’s also a variety of desserts and drinks to choose from. The outdoor area is spacious, complete with a fountain, making it very pleasant. 🌟Grilled Chicken Salad The grilled chicken salad comes with a generous portion of tender chicken, light yet flavorful, without feeling heavy. Not bad at all 👍 🌟Leopard Omelet The signature omelet has a decent taste, packed with vegetables and well-seasoned. Their cooking style results in a thick, hearty egg. The addition of smoked salmon didn’t particularly enhance the flavor and was a bit salty; I wouldn’t recommend adding salmon. 🌟Leopard Quiche I had the quiche about six months ago, and it left an impression of being quite light, especially when paired with a heap of vegetables – super healthy. 🌟Lemon Pancake This lemon-flavored pancake, which I also tried six months ago, was a bit heavy but delicious from what I recall. It’s pretty recommended, tasting a bit like a small cake 😆 It’s a large portion, and you can even take the leftovers with you. 🌟This place is the kind of spot you can just drop by when you’re not sure what to eat. It might not be a showstopper, but you’ll leave feeling content. #dmvfoodie #WhattoEatinDMV #DMVFoodandFun #GreaterWashington #dccuisinetours #dccuisine #washingtonfood #georgetownfood #brunch #cafe
