DC Japanese-Italian Fusion Cuisine|Highly Recommended! 👍

My two supervisors loved the Japanese restaurant I recommended—they couldn’t stop praising it! They enjoyed the meal so much they even said they hoped I’d stay (though that’s not the point! 😄). 🏮 Tonari 📍 707 6th St NW, Washington, DC 20001 ✨ Highlight 1: The dishes bring a fresh, delicious twist—fusion done right, with a perfect sense of balance. The ingredients are carefully chosen, and you can taste the thought behind each plate. For example, P4 and P5 use noodles of different shapes, thicknesses, and textures—almost like handmade pasta. ✨ Highlight 2: Happy Hour runs from 5 PM to 7 PM—the entire drink menu is available, with cocktails 2 off and wine just 7 a glass. Highly recommend the YUBARI SOUR 🍸—it’s tangy, sweet, and super refreshing! You can tell the server your preferences (e.g., tequila-based, sour-sweet), and they’ll suggest something perfect. Or just browse the detailed menu. One thing worth emphasizing: the cocktails are crafted with great care—some of the top three I’ve ever had! As for food orders—no need to follow my list, since I mostly tried dishes recommended in other posts (some repeats). Have you been to Tonari? What’s your favorite fusion spot in DC?
