DC New Spot | French Brunch | Amelie

This French wine bar already has two locations in New York and just opened in DC's Logan Circle area last year! 🥂 Surprisingly quiet during weekend lunch hours, and the servers still seem a bit new, but the food flavors are quite nice! For brunch, the menu offers a decent variety of choices. Played it safe with our first order: Egg Benedict/Salmon: The English muffin was thankfully not too hard—a rare find! Though it arrived slightly lukewarm. 🥚 Croque Madam: The ham was deliciously savory! 🥪 Escargot: The flaky pastry paired with snails kept it from feeling too heavy. 🐌 Coffee was just okay, but the fried potatoes were tasty! 🥔 The complimentary bread had perfect texture—not too soft, not too hard. Enjoying Western cuisine without wine can feel a bit rich after a while. 🍷 📍 1315 14th Nw St, Washington, DC 20005 What's your go-to French dish for brunch?
