DC Omakase | Sushi Ogawa 👍

First time trying this place, and I was genuinely impressed! 😊 (I’d seen some negative reviews before, but decided to give it a try myself—always trust your own luck! 🍀) It might just be my favorite omakase experience in DC so far! We got to try so many different types of fish! The sea cucumber had a nice QQ texture, and the sea urchin was super fresh 🍣 (I usually avoid raw fish, but I’m slowly getting into it—and my stomach handled it perfectly! 😋😋). Do you enjoy omakase? What’s the most unique sushi you’ve ever tried? I loved the variety—it felt like a delicious adventure, and I left completely satisfied! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, like a little izakaya. It’s not as polished as some Michelin-starred spots, but that’s exactly why I liked it! The chef even wiped our plates between courses and was super friendly—such great vibes and attention to detail! 💫 Way better than Barrack Omakase!!! That one felt like checking off a list... 😆 And SO much better than places that just fill a course with basic salmon. I’ve been to Barrack twice and can barely remember it 🙃—sometimes Michelin spots feel like tourist traps.
