DC Solo Dining|Hank’s Oyster Bar 🦪🍝
Just an ordinary weekday—who would’ve thought I’d come for oysters and end up having the BEST pasta I’ve ever had in DC?! 😱✨ Hank’s has always been known for its wide variety of oysters and consistent quality. The fact that it runs multiple locations in DC at not-so-cheap prices ($21 for half a dozen) says it all! 💸👍 But! It was my first time trying their hidden seafood pasta—yes, hidden! It’s not on the menu, but I spotted it on several tables and cleverly asked for it! 🧠💡 • Thick, rich cheese that made it hard to even poke a fork through 🧀😅 • Yet the noodles were perfectly al dente—firm, bouncy, and not mushy at all 🍝💪 • Loaded with seafood: lobster, oysters, scallops, shrimp—piled so high there was more seafood than pasta by the end! 🦞🦐🐚 • Mildly spicy seasoning, rich but not greasy, sweet and savory without being salty—totally outshines many Italian restaurants downtown! 🏆🔥 A dozen and a half oysters + half a bowl of pasta + a breezy, slightly tipsy early summer night… 🌙🍷 Apart from the guaranteed weight gain, I really can’t find any flaws! 😂❤️ #DMVFood #DMVSeafood #DMVItalianCuisine #HiddenGem #OysterLover #PastaPerfection #SoloDining #WeekdayTreat #DCeats #FoodDiscovery #SeafoodPasta #CheesyGoodness #SummerNights #Indulgence #NoRegrets #HanksOysterBar #MustTryDC #FoodieWin
