Strongly Recommended Hidden Gem Restaurant This place has become my absolute favorite in DC! Hands down, no competition. A German restaurant with pork knuckles and a sausage platter for the food lovers out there. The vibe is very German-style. We ate half and took the other half to go. If there are other delicious items, make sure to let me know!! 🥨 Bretzel (I recommend the bier cheese spread, I find it tastier than mustard) 🐽 Schweinehaxe (The famous pork knuckle, a perfect mix of fat and lean, super-sized pork knuckle with crispy skin, it’s to die for) 🌭 Wurstfeast (A sausage platter with 5 types of sausages, each one is just right) For sides, you must try the roasted potatoes! Sauerkraut is a must-have accompaniment. 🍮 Apfelstrudel mit Vanilla Eis (How can autumn be without apple pie?
