This afternoon (Sunday), we went looking for a Korean restaurant we’d seen recommended online but couldn’t find it. Just as we were about to give up, we noticed Kangaroo Nam—a cozy spot with a line of cars parked outside 🚗💨. Curious, we decided to stop by, and luckily, a table for two was available! We ordered two lunch specials: 🍱 Combo #5: Udon noodles with a shrimp tempura roll — my wife’s pick! 🍱 Combo #7: Udon noodles with a classic sushi set — my go-to choice! Both sets were surprisingly affordable and the portions were much larger than we expected! 😲 For just $30.98 (before tax and tip), we enjoyed a filling and satisfying meal. The udon noodles were warm, comforting, and perfectly cooked. The tempura shrimp was crispy 🍤, and the sushi tasted fresh and delicate. What really stood out was the thoughtful service — our server kindly offered forks for eating the udon, which was such a helpful touch! 🙏 The food came out quickly, yet we never felt rushed. It was a relaxed, enjoyable experience from start to finish. If you’re looking for tasty Japanese food served with warmth and efficiency, Kangaroo Nam is a wonderful choice!
