Delicious Japanese in Houston ๐ฃ
Kata Robata ๐ Texas Wagyu Sandwich โ The wagyu is crispy outside, tender and fatty inside โ so rich I almost doubted it was beef! Served with fried toast. First bite: delicious. Second bite: a bit heavy. ๐ฃ Foie Gras Sushi โ $12 each, but the foie gras melts in your mouth. Highly recommended! ๐ซ Uni Chawanmushi โ Sweet sea urchin paired with silky steamed egg. Warm, comforting, and tasty. ๐ Grilled Lamb Chops โ A special of the day. First time trying Japanese-style lamb โ very tender with minimal gaminess. Served with onion rings and yogurt sauce (the combo felt a bit mismatched though). ๐ Mushroom Robata โ Grilled well, but the tangy seasoning wasnโt my favorite ๐ญ ๐ Tuna & Salmon Roe Roll โ A solid, tasty roll โ nothing groundbreaking, but satisfying. ๐ฐ Matcha Red Bean Soufflรฉ Cheesecake โ Not too sweet! Texture falls between cheesecake and soufflรฉ โ super smooth. The red bean ice cream on the side is sweeter, but together theyโre perfect. ๐ธ Total for two (after tax & tip): close to $200. Occasionally nice as a date spot! #HoustonFood #Houston #TexasFood #JapaneseFood #HoustonJapanese #Wagyu
