Finally made it to Diamond Tart, which opened in June, after avoiding the initial crowds! Enjoying a soft, sweet, and warm egg tart with a cup of coffee or tea on a chilly day feels like pure happiness. 🫶🏻 🥐 Croissant Egg Tart Series Classic Croissant Egg Tart — $3.50 A buttery, flaky crust filled with rich, creamy custard. This "basic joy" was served warm, with just the right level of sweetness—not overly sugary. Great value, especially since the filling is more generous than your average tart. Matcha Egg Tart — $3.85 I expected different fillings for each flavor, but it’s the same custard base with different toppings. This one ranked second for me—slightly sweeter than the classic, but with a pleasant, balanced matcha bitterness that lingers. 👍 Chocolate Egg Tart — $3.85 A bit sweeter than the classic, with a chocolate topping. Would’ve loved a chocolate-infused filling for a richer experience. Solid choice for chocolate lovers. Pistachio Egg Tart — $4.65 I bought it for the looks, but the pistachio crumbs only sit on top, making it feel overpriced compared to the classic. Not my favorite. 🍮 Canele Series Classic Canele — $3.50 Deeply caramelized, crispy shell with a soft, moist, and chewy interior. Perfectly sweetened. I’m no expert, but based on my experience, this was delicious—even better than the tarts! Will definitely order again. Matcha Canele — $3.65 This one features a matcha-flavored filling inside the caramelized shell. Sweeter and moister than the classic, but I still prefer the original. 🐶 About the Shop Located in the former Tiger Sugar spot (RIP to my beloved boba place 💔). The logo, "Diamond," is a big, round, black dog whose full-time job is to "eat, sleep, and sunbathe like a perfectly toasted pancake."
