Did you know KPOT is now open in Columbus?! 🎉

I noticed this new spot on the map a while ago—a combo of all-you-can-eat hot pot + Korean BBQ! 🍲🔥 Columbus doesn’t have many of these, so foodies who love hot pot and BBQ, get ready! Today, let’s see what KPOT is all about! 📍 Address: 5240 Bethel Center Mall (near Walii Dessert) 💰 Price: Mon–Fri Lunch: $18.99 per adult Mon–Fri Dinner: $28.99 per adult Weekends (all day): $28.99 per adult Add $5 per person for both hot pot & BBQ. Dinner after tax comes to around $46 per person. We went around 6 PM on a Friday—registered our name and phone number at the front desk and waited about 1.5 hours. To avoid queues, try going before peak dining hours or arrive early! ⏳ Right inside, to the left, there’s a huge sauce station with a wide variety of condiments—first time seeing shacha sauce (Chinese barbecue sauce) in Columbus! 🥳 They also serve fruits and side dishes. Hot pot broth options include Thai Tom Yum, Spicy Mala, Tomato, Korean Seafood Tofu Soup, Miso, and more. We tried the Spicy Mala broth—it was okay but not particularly fragrant or spicy, almost like store-bought soup base. Portions are small—each meat order comes with just a few slices, so we started with 3 servings per item. With so many dishes, it was hard to tell which meat was which! Here are some highlights: ‼️ Hot Pot Section: Individual mini pots per person! Most hot pot ingredients are safe to order—no major disappointments. Must-try: Fried Taro! 🍠 Apart from the small serving, it’s perfectly soft and delicious in the spicy broth. ‼️ BBQ Section: Beef Bulgogi & Spicy Beef Bulgogi—safe and tasty choices. Short Rib—always a win! Pork Belly—no weird smell, recommend! Beef Tongue—very thin, hardly recognizable, and lacks flavor after grilling. Not recommended. K-pot Steak, Salmon, Small Octopus—skip these. While dining, we even witnessed a birthday celebration 🎂—staff gathered to sing happy birthday, giving off major Hai Di Lao vibes! So if you’re celebrating a birthday, this could be a fun spot with great atmosphere! 🥳 #OSU #OhioState #Columbus #KPOT #HotPot #KoreanBBQ #AllYouCanEat #FoodReview
