Dining at a Mexican Restaurant in San Juan
šThis La Madre Mexican restaurant in the old town was already more than half full when we arrived . šThe red brick walls were adorned with painted ceramic plates, and the servers wore traditional embroidered shirts. š„ÆDrinks were freshly made and served promptly. The mango margarita had a finely salted rim, while the churros were crispy on the outside and soft inside, complemented by chocolate sauce with just the right level of sweetness. š„ØThe beef tacos were generously filled, and the accompanying salsa had noticeable chunks of tomato. š§ Service efficiency variedāour dishes arrived quickly, while the neighboring table had to wait a bit longer. š®Seats at the bar offer a view of the chefs making tortillas on the spot.
