DMV/Zero-Regrets French Dining · 2941 Restaurant 🍽️✨

This was my first time trying French cuisine where I didn’t dislike a single dish! 🥰 1️⃣ Appetizers: The Wagyu Tartare had rich, fatty beef—not light but super meaty and satisfying. 🥩💫 The Tomato Gazpacho is a must-order for everyone! The tomato pearls mimic caviar and add amazing texture—fresh yet rich. 🍅🥣 Their oysters are small but delicious—quite salty, but I loved them! 🦪💖 2️⃣ Main Courses: Lamb Belly with bean purée is a must for meat lovers—tender with no gaminess. 🐑🌿 My favorite was the lobster pasta—rich, slightly tangy, with cheese and tomato sauce. I kept eating even though I was full! 🦞🍝 The wild halibut was also amazing—crispy skin with a creamy mushroom sauce. The sauce was buttery but milky, pairing perfectly with the light fish. 🐟🍄 3️⃣ Desserts: We unexpectedly had five desserts! 🍰🤣 If you love chocolate, try the Caramel S’more—chocolate cake with a crispy shell and graham feuilletine base with marshmallow. 🍫🔥 The Panna Cotta was too sweet for me, paired with a very tart cranberry sorbet. 🍮🙈 We also tried the pistachio chocolate from the chef’s tasting—chocolate puff with pistachio ice cream (not what I expected).
