DMV’s Hidden Gem for Xinjiang Cuisine – Dolan Restaurant 🐑🔥
Who would’ve thought that after having a whole roasted lamb and big plate chicken for lunch, I’d be having them again for dinner at Dolan? 😂 We pre-ordered the Big Plate Chicken, Cold Skin Noodles, and Stir-Fried Laghman Noodles, but when we heard they had Whole Roasted Lamb available, we added a pound right away! The Big Plate Chicken and Cold Skin Noodles were absolutely delicious! 🍗 The big plate chicken here suited my taste even better than the one at Erkins—rich sauce, tender potatoes soaking up all the flavor, served with chewy noodles… each bite was pure satisfaction! Have you ever tried big plate chicken? What’s your favorite part—the chicken, potatoes, or noodles? The Whole Roasted Lamb was baked in a traditional tandoor oven, making the meat incredibly tender and flavorful. 🐑 Served with raw onions for a slightly spicy kick—it paired perfectly! The owner mentioned they roast half a lamb daily—all halal and never frozen. You can even pre-order a whole lamb if needed! Are you a lamb lover? How do you like it prepared? Our group wasn’t even that hungry at first, but we cleaned every plate in no time! We only managed to snap photos of the roasted lamb and dessert—everything else disappeared too fast! 📸 The Baklava was a pleasant surprise—a Turkish-style dessert that wasn’t as overly sweet as I expected. Enjoyed with a cup of San Pao Tai tea, it was just perfect! 🍰☕ Do you prefer desserts that are less sweet or fully indulgent? #DMV #DMVfood #XinjiangCuisine #UyghurFood #BigPlateChicken #RoastedLamb #CentralAsianFood #HiddenGem #HalalFood #FoodieFavorite #DMVdining #LambLover #NoodleDish #AuthenticFlavors #MustTry #FoodAdventure #ShareTheFeast #NoLeftovers
