DMV|Crème Brûlée Thai Tea 🍮 + Thai Basil Minced Meat Rice 🍛
Ocha Thai Kitchen and Cafe 📍 5037 Westfields Blvd, Centreville, VA 20120 ⚠️ This post is dedicated to all my sweet-tooth friends! 🍬 If you don’t like sweet stuff, better skip this one plz ⚠️ As a girl who LOVES crème brûlée, I’m obsessed with that sound of cracking caramelized sugar! And that bittersweet flavor combo—🥹 if you don’t get it, you’re missing out! 1️⃣ Crème Brûlée Thai Tea 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 So fragrant and rich! The caramel on top was still warm and crispy! 🔥 If you’re afraid it’ll be too sweet, you can swap the Thai tea for coffee. Seriously, it’s the first time I’ve had such amazing crème brûlée sauce—I’m in love! 💖 2️⃣ Crème Brûlée & Boba Jelly Toast 🍞🌟🌟🌟 Forgot the exact name (we added it last minute mid-meal 😅) A bit richer than the drink—felt a little heavy. Probably the strawberry version would taste better than the milk tea flavor… 🍓 3️⃣ Mango Sticky Rice & Coconut Panna Cotta with Mango Sorbet 🥭🌟🌟🌟🌟 Pretty good! Not mind-blowing, but my expectations weren’t super high. The portion is bigger than others—great for an afternoon tea snack! 🫖😼 4️⃣ Kapow Gai Kai Dao (Thai Basil Minced Chicken Rice) 🌿🍚🌟🌟🌟🌟 I’d seen food bloggers rave about Thai basil minced pork rice—looked so delicious I’ve been craving it! This place serves it—and surprise! They use minced chicken instead of pork! 🐔❤️ No idea how authentic it is, but I loved the basil + chicken flavor! A bit spicy though—skip if you can’t handle heat! 🌶️ 5️⃣ Fried Curry Rice 🍛 Not really recommending this one—Thai curry tastes pretty standard everywhere lol But the portion is big! Chicken Skewers were also just okay—nothing special 🍢😐 #ThaiFood #FoodReview #RestaurantRecommendation #FoodDiary #HiddenGem #GlobalEats #FoodieCollection #BrunchGoals #MangoStickyRice #DMV #DMVFood #DCEats #DMVLife #WhatsGoodDMV #EatLocal #SweetTooth #ComfortFood #CentrevilleEats
