DMV|What to Eat After Work – Mediterranean Food Recommendation 😋

📍 Address: Cava Mezze Rockville 9713 Traville Gateway Dr, Rockville, MD 20850 This little spot is truly a hidden gem! 💎 They’ve been open for 20 years, and even on the day we visited, the place was packed—we waited about 10 minutes to get in. Prices range from $30–50 per person, making it perfect for a weekend treat or a post-work meal with friends. 🍽️✨ 🔸 Excellent Service The owner found out it was our first time and even treated us to a dessert! 🍰 So thoughtful! 🔸 Every Dish Was Delicious Even the complimentary Harissa & Pita Bread was flavorful and fresh—so good! 😋 ✨ Must-Try Dishes: 【1】Grilled Octopus 🐙💙💙💙💙💙 The octopus was incredibly tender—no rubbery texture! Lightly charred on the outside with a subtle smoky flavor. Served with bean purée and tangy peas—a perfect balance! 【2】Branzino (Grilled Mediterranean Sea Bass) 🐟💙💙💙💙💙 • Fresh fish: Branzino has few bones and delicate flesh. They grill it whole and serve it fresh. • Mediterranean flavors: Seasoned with olive oil, lemon juice, and fresh herbs like thyme and parsley—enhancing, not overpowering, the natural taste. • Crispy skin: High-heat roasting gives the skin a golden crisp while keeping the inside juicy. 【3】Grilled Lamb Chops 💙💙💙💙 The lamb was tender and aromatic. Though I’m not a huge fan of lamb’s distinct flavor, this dish still had a mild gaminess. Great for lamb lovers—highly recommended by the staff! Have you been to Cava Mezze?
