DMV | Dining at Edward Lee's SUCCOTASH 🍽️

📍 **SUCCOTASH** I was pleasantly surprised to find that Edward Lee, the chef from the show "Culinary Class War" (Black & White Chef), has a restaurant in DC. It serves classic American Southern cuisine. I ordered the "Taste of South" to give it a try. 🌟 1️⃣ **Shrimp and Grits:** The shrimp were perfectly cooked, and the cheese crisps on top added a delightful crunch. 🍤 2️⃣ **Collard Greens, Kimchi & Country Ham:** A unique blend of flavors that worked surprisingly well together. 🥬 3️⃣ **Chicken and Waffle:** This dish was a bit underwhelming. The fried chicken lacked flavor, and the waffle was too soft. 🐔 4️⃣ **Arugula Salad:** The buttermilk dressing paired with blue cheese and slightly bitter arugula made for a refreshing bite. 🥬 5️⃣ **Devil Eggs:** If you love eggs, you’ll enjoy these. They were very eggy, which might be off-putting to those who don’t like a strong egg flavor. 🥚 Overall, I’m not a big fan of Southern food, so I found the dishes to be just average. However, it’s worth a visit for Edward Lee’s creative take on Southern cuisine. 🎨 #food #restaurantrecommendation #blackandwhitechef #washingtondc
