DMV | Georgetown’s Presidential Eatery is a Must-Try!

🌟Flash visit to DMV from the West Coast, and the first thing on the list is to check out this presidential favorite, Martkn’s Tavern, saved in my bookmarks! 🌟🌟The Hot Brown is too good to be true! Toasted bread buttered at the bottom, layered with tender turkey slices, topped with a rich cheese and sizzling bacon. Expected it to be a heavy Caucasian meal, but to my surprise, it’s quite light and super delicious! 🌟🌟🌟Also tried the Shrimp Cocktail – yummy! The sauce looks like ordinary ketchup at first glance, but it actually has a refreshing mustard kick, with rich layers of flavor, and the shrimp itself is plump and tender. 🌟The two gentlemen at the next table ordered espresso martinis that looked super tempting.
