DMV Dining Exploration | Chez Billy Sud French Cuisine

Heard it’s a French restaurant where you might run into Obama 🍴 Went for a date night to try the dinner menu 🤓 Didn’t spot the president, but oh well Personally, I found it quite average; French cuisine can be a bit salty ✨ Restaurant Ambiance Near Washington Harbor, there are several paid parking lots 🅿️ The venue is fairly large with outdoor seating available 🪑 🖼️ The decor is very artistic; even a casual snap turns out great 📷 The tables are particularly small, but they clear the table before serving each course ✨ Dishes FOIE DE VOLAILLE - Chicken liver jelly with baguette 🥖 The chicken liver paste topped with jelly has a creamy texture Pretty good with the baguette 👍🏻 ESCARGOTS - French snails 🐌 Didn’t quite get this dish; it seemed flavorless The snails come with puff pastry CONFIT CANARD - Duck leg 🦆 The duck leg had a nice texture, but it got a bit salty towards the end Served with fried potatoes and mushrooms 🍄‍🟫 and spinach, a balanced mix of carbs and veggies STEAK FRITES - Steak with fries 🍟 The steak was quite large; ordered medium-rare but it was a bit dry, not recommended ✨ Service The waitstaff were polite and spoke gently There’s a certain laid-back French charm, but they didn’t seem very enthusiastic They don’t seem to care much about tips; the gratuity is already included in the check 💸 Average cost per person: $75 including tips (20% gratuity included) #100DiningExperiences #dmvFrenchCuisine #DiningCheckIn #JoinMyDiningAdventures #AtmosphericRestaurant #WhatsGoodinDMV
