DMV Family Fun | Lego Discovery Center 🧱✨
Finally visited the Lego Discovery Center! 🎉 My kids—5 years old and 21 months—had so much fun they didn’t want to leave after 4 hours! 😄👧👶 Highlights: • Right at the entrance, you can build your own Lego mini-figure! 🧍♂️ • The interactive train ride was a hit—short lines and lots of fun 🚂🎢 • Amazing Lego models of DC landmarks with incredible details—the Tidal Basin cherry blossoms 🌸, day and night lighting effects, and even a tiny metro with surprises inside! 🏛️🌃🚇 • Several interactive stations—pitch a baseball ⚾, operate a digger 🚜, and more! • The Duplo area and Dino World were also super cool 🦖🧩 • 4D Movies: We watched two—fun effects like water sprays 💦, but the Ninja one was a bit scary for my 5-year-old 😅 • Playground and laser room—so exciting! (Don’t forget socks! 🧦) • Duplo Land was perfect for toddlers 👶 • Workshops every 30 mins—learn to build a Lego creation together 🛠️❤️ Tips: • Evening tickets vary in price 🎫🌙 • Quick check-in, no long waits ⏱️ • Consider an annual pass if you’ll come often 💳 • We went on a weekday right at opening—quiet until 11 AM, then summer camp groups arrived. Afternoon was calm again! 📅 Our whole family loved it—even though we’re not hardcore Lego fans! 🧡 #DMVKids #LegoFun #FamilyDayOut #KidsActivities #DCAttractions #IndoorPlay #LEGODiscoveryCenter #WashingtonDC #PlayAndLearn #ToddlerFriendly #InteractiveFun #DCWithKids #BuildAndPlay #WeekendIdeas #CreativePlay
