DMV Food | It’s Not Bad, But It Doesn’t Quite Win the Heart
It’s pretty standard, nothing particularly dazzling (maybe the expectations were too high). In three words – “Just okay.” 🪿 Hudson Valley Foie Gras Torchon - Goose Liver Spread on Bread Not bad, not greasy, but the pistachio sauce is just so-so. 🐂 Beef Tartare - Raw Beef Tartare First time trying raw beef with cooked quail eggs 😂 🍄🟫 Burgundy Black Truffle Risotto - Black Truffle Risotto Surprisingly, this was the best dish! Loads of black truffle and the hazelnut crumble inside was delicious. 🦆 Rohan Duck - Duck Breast The most famous dish felt a bit ordinary, might be the chef didn’t do their best, it wasn’t very tender! 🍫 Mint Chocolate Souffle - Mint Chocolate Souffle Pretty innovative, not greasy again, but the mint flavor is strong, those who don’t like mint chocolate should run away. The prices are reasonable, about $60-70 per person, with a default 20% tip. #DMVFood #dmvfood #dmvfoodexploration #DMVFoodAndFun #dmvfoodandfun #WashingtonDCFood #WashingtonDC
