DMV Food | RPM Italian
๐ฅ Ambiance: The restaurant features a dark, black-themed style, with one side more suited for business and the other for dates. My sister and I were seated at a round table on the business side, where the warm afternoon sun streamed through the window, adding to the dining atmosphere. ๐ Food: The restaurant offers a three-course meal on Wednesdays, consisting of an appetizer, main course, and dessert. โถ Appetizer Ultra-thin black truffle cheese pizza: The thin and crispy pizza topped with black truffle oil and fragrant bits is a mouthwatering combination of creamy milk and earthy flavors. ๐๐ Salmon tartare: Fresh salmon paired with avocado sauce and a crispy baguette on the bottom, itโs a silent bite of heaven. ๐๐ฅ โท Main Course Grilled jumbo shrimp: The shrimp comes with a charcoal and fruitwood aroma, served with an Italian salad and diced tomatoes, making for an excellent low-fat meal. ๐ค๐ณ Short rib ravioli: Short rib meat and cheese puree paired with a rich cream sauce, delicious but a bit heavy. ๐๐ฅฉ โธ Dessert Pistachio roll: The outer layer is a bit thick, filled with pistachio cream (not light enough) and pistachio bits, can be cloying after a while. ๐ฐ๐ฎ Blueberry lemon cake: Fairly ordinary. ๐ฅง๐ ๐โโ๏ธ Service: No mandatory tipping, and they removed an inflation fee at our request. They also provided extra raspberry sauce for a drink that a friend wasnโt fond of, making it more enjoyable, and we received a small ice cream for a birthday treat. Overall, the taste, portion size, quality, and value for money were all good for my friend and me. Weโll likely return for the next Restaurant Week. ๐ #DancingAtBlueHour #DMV #WeekendPlans #FoodDiary #Italy #Pizza #HealingFoods #RestaurantWeek #AutumnRefresh #BootsAndTheCity
