DMV Food Review|Rania 🇮🇳 Refined Michelin-Star Indian Cuisine 🌟

This is the only Michelin-starred Indian restaurant in DC—and one of just three in the entire United States! 🇺🇸✨ I’ve been looking forward to trying it for a while, and Restaurant Week was the perfect opportunity. It definitely did not disappoint! 😌 Every dish was elegant and delicious, with thoughtful ingredient combinations and perfectly balanced Indian spices. 🌿🍛 A few notes: Their lamb dishes tend to be quite gamey—if you’re sensitive to that flavor, better to avoid them. Here are my must-order recommendations: ▪️ SHRIMP KOLIWADA 🍤 Super tasty! Crispy fried shrimp served with slightly spicy fresh mango and a flavorful sauce. ▪️ SHISO CHAAT 🌿 A must-try as recommended by the server—an Indian snack featuring fried shiso leaves with yogurt and chickpea mash. Refreshing and full of layered flavors! ▪️ MONKFISH MOILEE 🐟 A South Indian-style dish—firm monkfish in a coconut milk-based curry. Rich and comforting! 👅 ▪️ KEASARI MANGO 🍨 The only dessert I really liked—mango ice cream topped with crispy puffed rice clusters. Sweet and crunchy! Overall, great service and delicious flavors! This is definitely a must-visit-at-least-once spot while you’re in DC—though once might be enough unless the menu gets a major refresh. BTW, Restaurant Week offers really good value! 👍 📍 Rania 427 11th St NW, Washington, DC 20004 #DMVFoodReview #DMVEats #DMVFoodie #DCMichelin #WhatToEatInDC #WashingtonTravel #DCRecommendations #IndianCuisine #MichelinDining #FineDining #RestaurantWeek #ElegantFlavors #SpiceLovers #FoodExperience #DCfoodscene #MustTryDC #OnceInADining #UpscaleIndian #GourmetJourney #FoodMemories
